In the wake of the 2003 B.S.E (mad cow) crisis, Nova Scotia beef farmers experienced a drastic deterioration of their industry along with beef farmers nationwide. Now, the Department of Agriculture is looking to Nova Scotia’s grass-fed beef farmers to redefine the industry and renew a trust in beef products once again.
